Let's Plan Together

The Full Adventure
Most Popular

The Full Adventure

$240 / day

Includes a private guide, driver, and translator. You will hit the dirt roads together, exploring the unseen sights and rugged character of Georgia.

Mountain & Off-Road

Mountain & Off-Road

$300 / day

Specialized trips to remote mountain regions (Kazbegi, Svaneti, Khevsureti, Tusheti, Upper Adjara, Gudamakari, Vashlovani) or rugged off-road routes.

These rates apply for groups of up to four adults (the size of the Highlander: can include two children as well). Larger groups are of course welcome, but require hiring a larger vehicle; contact me for a quote applicable to your specific needs. On trips with overnight stays outside of Tbilisi, guests are asked to cover my overnight expenses (either at the same accommodation or with a per diem for my own accommodation). Rates exclude third-party activity fees, meals, entry tickets, and planning fees. If you travel in the low season (November to April), I may be able to offer a discount (contact me for a specific quote).

Georgia & Its Regions

It’s impossible to get a true feeling for the diversity of Georgia on a short trip. Don't race across the country—explore specific regions in depth.

Independent Trip Planning

If you're confident behind the wheel and want to go it alone, I can still help you build an incredible route.

Basic Consultation

$100 flat fee

We'll do a one-hour video call to discuss your plans and possibilities. Perfect if you already have an idea of what you want to do but need expert local tips, advice, and recommendations to make sure it works on the ground.

Standard Design

$200 flat fee

I will help you design your trip and itinerary from scratch. We'll do an initial video call and follow up with as many emails as necessary to build your ideal independent adventure, including destinations, places to stay, and a downloadable map of the routes.

The Deluxe Level

For travelers who want a friendly helping hand throughout their entire trip. In addition to the standard design, I'll make detailed prearrangements, book your stays, and remain on-call for the duration of your trip to handle translations and emergencies. Cost depends on the length of the trip.

Sample Inspiration

Every trip I lead is completely customizable. These are just a few examples of the off-road adventures we can build together.

Daytrip

The Khovle-Saorbisi Plateau

We head into a lost paradise high above the Tedzami Valley in Kartli. We start at Khovle to see a unique arched-brick aqueduct, then hit the jeep trail, ascending through the forest to a massive, grassy plateau. We'll walk up the large hill above Saorbisi to a spectacular 12th-century church with one of the best views in all of Georgia.

The Armenian Heritage of Lore

Bring your passports, because we're heading to the border zone. We'll explore the ruined cathedrals of Khorakert, Khojorni, and Brdadzori just meters from the frontier. Untouched by modern restoration, these ruins carry the heavy sensation of past glory from an era when the Lore region was a marchland of intermixed Georgian and Armenian culture.

Multi-Day Trek

Javakheti & Meskheti

We'll spend a few days exploring these distant regions. Depending on your stamina, we can climb to the incredibly well-preserved megalithic fortresses of Shaori or Abuli built on mountaintops thousands of years ago, or take it easy and watch migratory birds by the lakes. We'll crawl across the plateau backroads to the lip of the Mtkvari canyon for a rare, top-down view of the Vardzia Monastery, stay in village guesthouses, and slowly dawdle our way back through the mystical Uraveli valley.
